Alan is an accountancy graduate from Glasgow University and after completing his professional training worked for 15 years in industry before returning to the profession to establish his own accountancy practice.

The early part of his career was spent working for two international PLCs with subsidiaries in the UK, France and the USA and covering a variety of industries including drinks, animal feeds, packaging and engineering.  During this time he covered a variety of roles both at head office and out at the “coal face”. The second half of his career has been spent putting this “real life” experience into practice for the benefit of professional clients.

Alan is particularly interested in using new cloud based applications to provide our clients with a more proactive service and a smarter way of working.
